My training: Week 18
Whooah we’re half way there! Its been a long winter, but the weather is getting warmer and there are only 4 months until Ironman Wisconsin. Let the fun begin! Excited for a hot, fun and intense summer of training. Trying to get my knee healed up over the next 2 weeks so I’m gonna really hammer the bike/swim/core right now.
Week totals: 11.25 hours
- Swimming: 2.5 hours
- Biking: 7.25 hours
- Running: 2.25 hours
- Core: 1.25 hr
Favorite workout of the week: Group ride on Sunday. We got in ~65 miles. Stopped at Culvers on the way home (bad idea with 10 miles left).
Least favorite workout of the week: Running. Injured. Enough Said.
Advice of the week: If at first you don’t succeed, try doing what your coach told you the first time
Thing I’m looking forward to next week: 4.5 hour bike ride this weekend
Darn song is now stuck in my head and I feel like I am back in the 80’s.
